Hello friends! Welcome to my blog! This is my first blog
ever and I am sure that I don’t know what I am doing. Sweet.
This is me. Christopher. Gabriel. Warren.
As you may have heard, this summer I have the opportunity to
study abroad in Europe with Moody Bible Institute. I am a junior at the Moody
campus in Spokane, Washington. During this trip I will be traveling with Moody
and taking classes while getting a taste of the vast amount of history in the
European continent. The countries we will be traveling to are Italy, Germany
and Switzerland, and we will spend about a month in each country. I will be
taking three classes while I am there: a history class up until the
reformation, a history class on the reformation (while staying in Geneva,
Zurich, and Wittenberg!!!), and a theology class.
Some of the cities we will be staying at are Rome, Pompei,
Milan, Interlaken, Geneva, Munich, Wittenberg, and Regensberg. This trip is
truly amazing. Moody has been taking students along for a few years now and
they really have all the details dialed in. Our lecture schedule is interwoven
with tours through cities and historic sites, and our professors are our tour
guides. Because I am taking a few history classes, many of our assignments are
about things that we will actually be seeing first hand.
There are about 20 students on the trip, and about 6
professors.
Back in December, I had overlooked this trip because I
didn’t think it was financially possible for me. It is honestly a miracle that
I am sitting in the airport right now heading to Europe. I would never have had
the funds to be able to come, and God provided the funds in some huge ways.
Praise the Lord! Now it’s time to turn into mental sponge mode and soak it all
up. So you are welcome to follow the madness. I am going to try and be posting
every few days, and I am sure that I will plenty to talk about. Thanks for
following.
Buckle Up!!!

YAYYYY!!
